Abstract

 The article is devoted to the formation and development of the innovation system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article analyzes and describes the inevitability of combining three previously independent complex systems “science”, “education” and “innovation”, the causes and factors influencing the formation and development of the innovation system, problem sand solutions, points out that universities can provide competitive advantages of enterprises in the short and long term, the innovation process in the economy and are one of the drivers of innovation in the country. Uzbek model of creation NIS is analyzed.
