PERIODONTAL STATUS IN CHILDREN WITH TYPE 1 DIABETES

The aim of the study was to study the periodontal status of children with type 1 diabetes mellitus, depending on the severity and duration of the underlying disease. 70 children with diabetes mellitus aged 5 to 15 years were examined. It was found that the periodontal status of children with diabetes mellitus depends on the duration and severity of the underlying disease.
