The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has catalyzed a rapid shift from conventional face-to-face instruction to distance-based learning, further accentuating the imperative need to embrace digitalization in medical education. This thesis aims to explore the multifaceted dimensions of digitalization in medical education, delving into its potential benefits, associated challenges, current trends, and prospects.
