Ushbu maqolada zamonaviy fizikaning eng dolzarb mavzularidan biri bo’lmish manfiy massa tushunchasi yoritiladi. Dastlab manfiy massa ta’rifi, manfiy massa effekti, manfiy va musbat massali jismlarning gravitatsion maydonda
o’zining tutishi haqida ma’lumotlar beriladi, so’ngra manfiy massa effekti qayd etilgan tajriba detallari qisqacha bayon etiladi. Maqola so’nggida mavzuning dolzarb va istiqbolli jihatlari qayd etildi. O’zbek tilida manfiy massa haqida ma’lumotlar yetishmovchiligini to’ldirish va qiziquvchilarga qulaylik yaratish maqsadida ma’lumotlar sodda va ravon tilda ba’zi qisqartirish bilan beriladi.
