Abstract

Ushbu tezisda ionlashtiruvchi nurlanish, shu jumladan yadroviy nurlanish subatomik zarrachalar yoki elektromagnit to‘lqinlardan iborat bo‘lib, ular elektronlarni ajratib olish orqali atomlar yoki molekulalarni ionlashtirish uchun etarli energiyaga ega. Ba'zi zarralar yorug‘lik tezligining 99% gacha harakatlanishi mumkin va elektromagnit to‘lqinlar elektromagnit spektrning yuqori energiyali qismida joylashgan. Gamma nurlari, rentgen nurlari va elektromagnit spektrning yuqori energiyali ultrabinafsha qismi ionlashtiruvchi nurlanish hisoblanadi, shuningdek past energiyali ultrabinafsha, ko‘rinadigan yorug‘lik, deyarli barcha turdagi lazer nurlari, infraqizil, mikroto‘lqinlar va radio to‘lqinlar ham ionlashtiruvchi nurlanishdir . Ultrabinafsha sohada ionlashtiruvchi va ionlashtirmaydigan nurlanish o‘rtasidagi chegarani keskin aniqlab bo‘lmaydi, chunki turli molekulalar va atomlar turli energiyalarda ionlashadi. Ionlashtiruvchi nurlanish energiyasi 10 dan boshlanadi elektronvolts (eV) va 33 eV.
